BuildingBlocks Consulting was hired by a client wishing to modernise the current SAP infrastructure to conduct an assessment study.
BuildingBlocks Consulting installed the ESS/MSS functionality successfully to handle everyday company operations such as updating employee personnel information, benefits, and payments on the ESS portal and handling personnel change requests and updating information on performance management on the MSS.

Challenges:
- Short timeframes, complicated specifications, and 18 different nations that had to be covered in implementation.
- Our team was involved in the ongoing Client support projects as well, therefore managing both projects at once was a major difficulty.
- ESS/MSS go-live with hybrid SAP landscape, that Includes,
- Interface – SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0
- Backend – ECC 5.0 in NW2004s version.
- Our Team Implemented MSS functions combine Java/HTMLB (JSP-PCR capability) and Web dynpro technologies and the Portal system landscape has been set up with accelerators to handle the transportation of Portal-specific development.

Solutions:
The SAP solution was developed and implemented using an Onsite/Offshore execution paradigm and an Agile-based implementation methodology.
For implementation, the project was primarily carried out onsite, however support was moved offshore.
The following SAP modules are included in the re-implementation scope:

- FI, MM, SD, and HR.
